Government Commissioner for the “One with Nature” World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition and Editor-in-Chief of Nimród Hunting Magazine Zoltán Kovács congratulated Safari Club International (SCI), which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding this year, in a video message.

Zoltán Kovács said it was a great honour that the U.S.-based SCI, which is regarded as one of the world’s most important international hunting and environmental protection organisations, was also present at the 2021 Expo in Budapest as an exhibitor and participant of the various conferences.

“The SCI is trying to find answers to the challenges hunting and hunters face all around the world”, he emphasised. “We hit a nerve last year with the World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition, and we intend to continue work on that”, he added.

“Our goals continue to coincide: to nurture our hunting traditions, to support the sustainable use of nature, and to protect our natural environment”, the Editor-in-Chief highlighted.

“Over 600 thousand visitors arrived at the HUNGEXPO Conference and Exhibition Centre over the course of the 20-day Expo, including 60 thousand schoolchildren, and the whole series of events attracted over 1.5 million people.”, he recalled. “We believe we have acquired a huge amount of experience; we have a story to tell and talk about, and we invite you to take part in that work and for us to continue its implementation together”, Mr. Kovács added.
