Special Hungarian Vizsla Competition

The CACIT Special Hungarian Vizsla Competition was held on 12 and 13 October in Soponya. This competition is part of the series of events introducing the “One With Nature” World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition.

At the opening ceremony a keynote address was delivered by Andrea Gulyás, Director of the priority matters for the World Exhibition. In her speech she reminded the audience of the significance of the special competition, that was revived four years ago just in time for outstanding Hungarian specialists and their Vizslas to adequately prepare for the competition in the year of the 2021 World Exhibition.

Sixteen dogs and their keepers entered the competition, but three did not finish. Jorka von Kellerwald, led by Zsolt Kreszl, finished in third place with 365.5 points. Erdőgyöngye Vadász Alfréd, led by Csaba Hári, finished second with 374 points. Csipkéskúti Czókmók, led by Zoltán Ladányi, won the competition with 375 points.
