Another key figure in conservation has signed up as an ambassador for the "One With Nature" World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition.

Ali Kaka is the Vice President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) – an international organisation established for the conservation of the world's greatest natural assets – and also Wildlife Sector Advisor to the Kenyan Minister of Tourism and Wildlife. Following Shane Mahoney and Danene van der Westhuyzen, he has also prepared a video message on the importance of the World Exhibition.

Ali Kaka is Wildlife Sector Policy Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Wildlife of the Republic of Kenya and sits on the Board of several national and international Boards and Panels working in the field of conservation. Since 2016, he is IUCN Regional Councillor for Africa, and the President of IUCN appointed him as Vice President. Before, he worked as IUCN Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa (2009-2014). Earlier in his career, he established the pioneer unit for marine parks at the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). Later he was appointed as the Executive Director of the East Africa Wildlife Society (EAWLS).

In 2004 he received the National Geographic Society’s Howard Buffet Award for “Leadership in African Conservation”, the Meritorious award from IUCN’s World Commission on Protected Areas in 2009, and the Knight Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit in 2018.
