The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is an inescapable player in the world of hunting, so it is not surprising that it is actively involved in the preparations for the “One With Nature” World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition.

Hunting and wildlife conservation diplomacy is with us, with the organisation’s Vice President, the Imperial Count Benedikt Dürckheim-Montmartin, also holding the position of Ambassador for our event.

Count Benedikt Dürckheim is CEO and head of his family office active in farming, renewable energies, real estate in Germany, Austria, and the Middle East. As an entrepreneur and business supporter on different Internet start-up companies in Europe and the USA. Until 2016, he was Manager at the RWE-Power Group for Corporate Real Estate Management in Europe. He serves as advisor to members of the ruling family of Qatar and as supervisory board member of the SIGNA Recap Development Holding AG. He is CEO of various charities, and Lieutenant-Colonel of the Reserve at the German Army, responsible for civil military cooperation in Europe.

Count Benedikt Dürckheim believes that hunting and hunters have played an unquestionably important role since the dawn of human existence. The World Exhibition is an unmissable opportunity to bring together people from all over the world who want to conserve nature and wildlife, and who want to share their activities, ideas and actions on conservation, sustainability and other related issues.

He believes that urgent political efforts are needed to convince people of the importance of conservation and sustainable hunting.
