On Saturday at the HUNGEXPO fair centre in Budapest, the twenty-day-long ‘One with Nature’ World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition began with a Saint Hubertus Service paying tribute to the patron saint of hunters. The service was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén.

After the service, the TOTEM statue made from deer antlers in the shape of a rutting stag which will welcome visitors at the entrance of the central venue of the exhibition was inaugurated.

Organisers expect minimum one million visitors from 100 countries to attend the three-week-long series of events.

As prominent events of the weekend, canine and equestrian programmes, falconry and archery displays and a hunting horn championship will be held, while in the afternoons concerts will await visitors.

At the weekend, in addition to the capital, programmes will also be held in Keszthely, Hatvan, Gödöllő and Vásárosnamény.
